wat is the point of ppl botting? like for real if ur not gonna play the game and earn all of your things legit then just plz dont play it makes the game worse for everyone else.

I saw on offical RuneScape forum that legit players are saying that we have no life(botters). Now think about it. Legit player wasted shit load of time to earn money and get xp. We(botters) are smarter! We use software that allows us to do more interesting things than nolifing. Now if you're legit player i must that. Get a fucking life. Go fuck a girl, go get friends, go out, play xbox, just chill. There's much other things than FagScape... If you need any help in getting a life then PM me. I'll be more than happy to help.

this^ bots allow us to enjoy the fun parts of runescape without having to grind to get there. so we can hang out with friends or whatever and just play a bit of runescape on awesome accounts every now and then.

But to some, grinding is actually fun. Pre-2008 I did not mind grinding for my stats, as each level gained for me was a real achievement. But both sides are right in some parts, botting does make legit players wanna play less because of the competition against someone who is not even playing but it does not contribute fully to how shit RS has gotten. The community has deteriorated to trolls and scammers. I still play legit not only because of the lack of good bots but also that by playing with friends it has brought back many old memories of grinding levels out while talking to friends thru pm. Should try it from time to time, it ain't so bad.

I find the fun parts of the game like bosses and slayer can be made more fun by having better stats which aren't so fun to obtain and hence, bots are useful in that they eliminate the tedious parts of the game to make more room for the enjoyable parts. Yet it's important not to abuse it as it is unfair on those who have to compete against the computer which is wrong, but it's is only a game and if botting makes it more enjoyable then why not use it?
